With a career spanning Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and beyond, I have established measurement infrastructures from the ground up, led national laboratory accreditations, and represented Malaysia at prestigious international bodies including BIPM, ISO TC 229, and APMP.
Currently serving as Lead & Technical Assessor under the Department of Standards Malaysia, I continue to elevate metrology standards across the nation and the region.

Lead & Technical Assessor, ISO/IEC 17025
I have conducted 30+ assessments under the SAMM scheme, including at the National Metrology Institute of Malaysia. Fields: Length, Dimensional, and Temperature metrology.
Head, Dimension & Angle Laboratory
I established measurement infrastructures for length, dimensional, temperature and humidity. Appointed Technical Chairperson for length at GULFMET (2014–2018) and served as Technical Reviewer for BIPM CMC.
Acting Head, Temperature & Humidity Lab
I supervised the quality system, trained technical personnel, and developed procedures for temperature and humidity metrology infrastructure.
Head, Mechanical Section
I supervised development covering Length/Angle, Mass/Density, Pressure, Force and Torque metrology — building national measurement capability.
Metrologist
I supervised the length laboratory, established the quality system leading to DSM accreditation in 2006, and provided metrology training to accredited laboratories nationwide.
